When designing our primary bedroom, I really wanted the decor to feel classic, luxe, layered and elegant, yet also fresh. Choosing timeless furniture so that I could easily switch out things like the bedding, rug, and decor for the seasons if I wanted! I love how cozy, refined, and sophisticated our primary bedroom decor feels. It’s a bonus that most everything is at great price points and a designer look without the designer price.

I found this designer inspired canopy bed that is such an amazing look for less! And I love super soft bedding, and this Tencel fabric duvet cover is perfect for all season. It’s buttery soft, and great for layering in different textures and fabrics to change out the look seasonally.

Hanging mirrors over nightstands is one of my favorite design details to create an elevated look. And I like to keep the styling simple, such as a lamp, candleholders, and greenery or florals.

Another designer tip is to make sure your rug is large enough for the space. Ideally, a 9′ x 12′ under a king bed looks best to me! And I prefer a soft underfoot rug in the bedroom, and I love the neutral tones and modern border design of this rug!

Always hang your curtains at the ceiling when you can, making your ceilings feel taller! These Amazon curtains are one of my favorite finds, such amazing quality and they truly look designer without the designer price tag.

We’ve had this dresser for years. It’s so timeless and matches with so many styles! And since we like a TV in the bedroom, we opted for a Frame TV so that it looked like decor as well!

We had an awkward empty wall in our bedroom, so I decided to style it with this console table, mirror and ottoman setup. This console is nice and narrow, and perfect for styling a small space!
